Mission Nutrition

Background Info

Mission Nutrition is a free online and interactive program designed to get children excited about healthy living. Created by Canadian dietitians, Mission Nutrition provides activities that may be used in the classroom or at home.

The teacher tool kits provide healthy living lesson plans, fun activities, and assessment ideas for students in grades K to 8.

Support Real Teachers

Background Info

Support Real Teachers advocates quality physical education to help students develop skills, knowledge and the desire to be physically active.

The Cross Disciplinary Activities page on their website provides examples of cross-curricular activities and lesson plans for educators. Subject areas include art, math, reading, writing, and science.
